Mullein Seeds

These Mullein flower cobs and seeds are from my second year plants. There are hundreds of seeds in each bag. All plants are grown in my yard and taken care of by me. No pesticides or fertilizer used. Just left to do their thing in our crappy Ohio clay soil, which they truly love.
 
Seeds should be scattered on top of the ground before he first frost, do not cover with soil. They need light to germinate. They must also cold stratify to germinate. That means they must go through a freeze cycle. If you don't want to scatter them before the frost, place them in your freezer over winter and scatter in early Spring. Keep in mind that they may not actually germinate until next year if you choose to do it this way. Remember that 1st year plants only grow a rosette. 2nd year plants grow a flower stalk. You may want to save some seeds for the next year so that you have a constant supply of 1st and 2nd year plants.
